Local residents showed their respect by taking part in a community project.

People living in building 17 of the Galistan settlement came together to clean and improve the area around their homes.

They picked up trash, planted flowers and trees and made the space more beautiful.

Some residents said this was their way of remembering Heder Aliiv's great work for the country.

They believe that keeping the environment clean and working together helps build a strong and more united community.

And next I would like to talk about the increase of cigarette prices in Azerbaijan.

And this may affect many people.

Cigarette prices in Azerbaijan are expected to rise very soon.
阿塞拜疆的香烟价格预计很快将会上涨。
According to reports, the increase could be linked to higher taxes or new regulations.
据报道，这一增长可能与更高的税收或新的法规有关。
Some stores have already started selling certain cigarette brands at more expensive prices.
一些商店已经开始以更高的价格销售某些品牌的香烟。
Health officials say that prices rise may help reduce smoking, which is good for public health.
卫生官员表示，价格上涨可能有助于减少吸烟现象，而这对公众健康是有益的。
Many smokers are worried about the growing costs.

So I personally believe the Azerbaijan is a special amount of smoke and this rise will help people reduce their smoking.

And there are many ways of quitting smoking, not recommended guys.

A pedestrian who was hit by truck in Gengen was passed away in hospital.

The accident happened on Heder Aliiv every new a few days ago.

The victim was about 70 years old and it was identified as Mehti Muktaro.

After the accident he was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Unfortunately, despite the doctor's efforts he died today.

And police are still investigating the cause of the accident.

On May 10, new soldiers across the country official took their oath to serve the nation.

These oaths taking ceremonies are part of a 2025 training plan which was approved by Defense Minister Colonel Generals Akira Sanov.
