There is a lot of US history in this city and I'm excited to learn all about it.

It is extremely windy today.

Another way to describe windy is breezy

Do you know the word detrimental?
你知道“detrimental”这个词吗？
It's kind of a serious word so maybe I shouldn't have used that word but all that means is

it's not a good thing.

It is April and there's a saying April showers bring May flowers.
现在是四月，有句谚语说：“四月的雨，五月的花。
What that means is usually in April it's supposed to rain a lot

but then in May a lot of flowers will bloom but luckily while we are on vacation

What I really love about the east coast is the various seasons.

We have winter, spring, summer and fall

and where I currently live in Los Angeles it's basically just a light summer all the time so I miss having four seasons.

When I travel I tend to walk a lot.

Well a lot for me which is maybe around 12 ,000 steps to 18 ,000 steps per day.

Sometimes I will rent a bike if we have to get far and if I don't want to spend money on a cab.

This morning we decided to not go to breakfast because we were already running late.
