We're looking at phrasal verbs.

We've got 18 in total.

And these phrasal verbs are split into different groups.
这些短语动词被分成了不同的组别。
And they're all about better communication.
它们都是为了实现更好的沟通。
Speaking phrasal verbs to improve or to give you or help you with better communication.

So let's go through them.
那么，我们就来逐一看看它们吧。
First we're looking at negative speaking okay.
首先，我们来看那些带有负面含义的言论（即消极的言辞）。
So first one is go on.
那么，第一个步骤就是继续进行下去。
Okay.
好的。
So when somebody goes on it means they go on and on and on.
所以，当有人开始说个不停的时候，就意味着他们会一直说个没完没了。
So this is why we talk about negative speaking because it's something you don't want to hear.
这就是为什么我们要谈论那些消极的言论——因为这些是你根本不想听到的内容。
You don't want to hear people going on.
你肯定不想听别人不停地唠叨。
Okay.

So that's going to talk about a topic that you're bored about.

But they just go on and on.

For example, he went on and on about his new car.

He went on and on about his new job, so kept talking about it.

So you got really, really bored, not very interested.

And you would wish that he could please be quiet.

So when somebody goes on.

The next one is when somebody harps on.

So to harp on about something is very similar to harp on is about talking repeatedly about something.
因此，反复唠叨某件事其实就相当于不断地谈论同一件事。
Okay.

Repeatedly somebody was harping on about the lack of money that they have kept saying, oh, I've no money,
总是有人反复抱怨自己没钱，不停地说着：“哦，我没有钱。
paid too much tax, I never have any money.
我交的税太多了，结果自己总是身无分文。
I can't do this.
我做不到这件事。
I can't do that.
我做不到那个。
They just harp on.
他们就是不停地唠叨个不停。
They go on like playing a harp.
它们的声音持续不断，就像有人在弹奏竖琴一样。
Yeah.
是的。
The musical instrument they harp on about this ad nauseum.
他们在广告里反复提到的那种乐器……真是让人烦透了。
They just will not stop.
他们就是停不下来。
So again, very negative.
所以，再次强调：这种评价非常负面。
And then the third one is to ramble on.
然后第三点就是喋喋不休、东拉西扯个不停。
