I've done a couple of previous lessons, one was called Around the House and one very recent one was in my kitchen,

I've had quite a few requests, believe it or not, about toilet and bathroom vocabulary and items in those areas.

We're going into the toilet or loot first and then the bathroom.

So I have a room here where it's just a toilet, so we would call this the toilet,

not the bathroom, toilet or loo, of course, loo.

So there it is, that's the toilet of course.

On the top I've left out a very popular cleaning product called bleach.

Bleach, not some people use that in the UK.

Down there is the toilet brush for cleaning.

You might hear that.

So that's the toilet or loo.

And this is the bathroom, the room where the bath is.

So we wouldn't call the toilet the bathroom.

We would use this, or call this room, the bathroom.
我们会把这个房间称作“浴室”。
They're quite separate in fact.

Here is the bath.
这是浴室。
Up there we have the shower.

The bit where the water comes out is the shower head.

And here, there's actually a shower screaming there.

You might be seeing quite faintly, even back and forth.

That's what keeps the water from getting out of the shower when it's on.

Down here we have a hair brush.

On the floor, I've actually left a couple of things.

We have two towels.

So the big one is the bath towel.

And the smaller one to the right is the hand towel or face towel.

And behind them, the whitish thing.

That's a bath mat for the floor to stop the floor getting wet.
