This week we're interested to know which form of English is more commonly used today, British English or American English.

So we found various objects that you can see here which have completely different vocabularies for the two forms of English.

And we went to Munster in Germany

where British English is more commonly taught in school to see which of the two vocabularies they're more instinctively using nowadays.

Out of curiosity, do you think you speak American or British English?

Erm, I think British.

Yeah, English that's taught in German class is probably more British English.

I think rather American.

Because the media I consume is mainly American.

Good question, I don't know how to answer it.

I think I'm newer than British than American.

I think someone once told me that I have a New Zealand -ish accent or London accent but I'm not sure of either one.
