To form the present continuous, we always need subject and our is plus verb,

I -N -G, every time.

In today's lesson, sometimes I'll say the full form and sometimes I'll contract.

We can change the main verb, doing, studying, watching TV, any I -N -G verb you want.

That's a strange question to ask yourself, but let's just look at the grammar.
