您好!欢迎再次访问 www.engvid.com。
I'm Adam.
我是亚当。
Today, I'm going to help you sound a little bit more like a native speaker, hopefully.
今天,我希望能够帮助你的语音听起来更像母语者的发音。
Students ask me all the time: "How can I sound like a native speaker?"
学生们经常问我:“我该如何才能像母语者一样说话呢?
Well, before I say anything, let me just tell you that it will take time and a lot,
嗯,在我说任何事情之前,我想先告诉你们:这需要时间,而且需要付出很多努力。
a lot, a lot of practice.
需要大量的练习。
The best way is to live in an English-speaking country, of course, but of course you can do it anywhere,
最好的办法当然是生活在英语国家,不过其实无论在哪里都可以做到这一点。
but it takes time; be patient, practice, practice, practice.
但这需要时间;请耐心一些,多练习、多练习、再练习。
So we're looking at pronunciation.
所以我们现在关注的是发音问题。
Let me start with this word: "pronunciation".
让我从这个词开始讲起:“pronunciation”(发音)。
Not: "pronounciation".
注意:正确的拼写是 “pronunciation”,而不是 “pronounciation”。
It is not a pronoun.
它不是一个代词。
A pronoun is: "I", "me", "my", "mine".
代词包括:“I”(我)、“me”(我)、“my”(我的)、“mine”(我的东西)。
Pronunciation is how we speak English.
发音是我们说英语的方式。
So I'm going to give you three tips that will help you sound a little bit more like a native speaker.
那么,我会给大家提供三个建议,这些建议能帮助你们在说话时听起来更像母语者。
We're going to start with connecting words.
我们将从连接词语开始学习。
Now, think about your own language, whether you're speaking Spanish or Polish or Chinese, you do this in your language as well.
现在,请想想你自己的语言——无论你说的是西班牙语、波兰语还是中文——在你使用自己的语言进行交流时,也是如此。
When you're speaking fast, you're taking words and you're squeezing them together; you're connecting them, so one word flows into the next word.
当你说话速度很快时,你会把单词压缩在一起,让它们之间的衔接更加紧密,从而使一个单词自然地过渡到下一个单词。
That's what we're going to do here.
这就是我们在这里要做的。
You can connect consonants to consonants.
你可以将辅音与辅音连接在一起。
What this means: when a word ends in a consonant...
这意味着:当一个单词以辅音结尾时……
A consonant is "b", "c", "d", "f", "g", etc.
辅音包括 “b”、“c”、“d”、“f”、“g” 等。
A vowel is "a", "e", "i", "o", "u".
元音包括 “a”、“e”、“i”、“o”、“u”。
When a word ends in a consonant and the next word begins with the same consonant, drop the first one.
当一个单词以辅音结尾,而下一个单词又以相同的辅音开头时,应省略第一个辅音。
So for example: we do not say: "black coffee", we don't say: "ke, ke".
例如:我们不会说“black coffee”(黑咖啡),也不会说“ke, ke”。
There's only one "k": "bla coffee", "bla coffee."
这里只有一个字母 “k”:即 “bla coffee”。
Okay?
好的,明白了吗?
Practice that.
多练习一下那个。
Now, "t" and "d", these are two
现在,“t”和“d”,这两个字母……
different consonants, but according to the tongue and the mouth, they almost sound the same so we do the same thing.
虽然这些辅音有所不同,但由于发音时舌头的位置和口腔的形状不同,它们的发音实际上非常相似;因此我们对这些辅音的处理方式也是一样的。
"Wha do you do?", "Wha do you do?"
你是做什么工作的?” “你是做什么工作的?
But again, another thing you have to keep in mind is when we say it fast, we also don't really say "e",
但同样,还需要记住的一点是:当我们快速念这个词时,其实并不会真正发出“e”这个音。
we say like a...
我们想说的是……(不过具体想说什么,句子并没有完整表达出来)
Sort of like a small...
有点像一个小……
We don't say "o" - sorry -, we say sort of a small "e".
我们不说“o”(抱歉),而是发一个类似小“e”的音。
"Wha do ye do?"
你们是做什么工作的?
Practice that.
多练习一下那个。
"Wha do ye do?"
你是做什么工作的?
Strange, huh?
很奇怪,对吧?
No "t", "wha", "de ye do?", "Wha de ye do?"
没有“t”、“wha”、“de ye do?”或“Wha de ye do?”这些词。
